Durham; Ann born 1838 at Thornley, Co. Durham; Jane born 1841 at Coxhoe Hill; John born 1843 at Coxhoe Hill; and Jane born 1845 at Quarrington Hill, Co. Durham. Thomas was probably the son of Mark Scott (husbandman) and his wife Mary Dodds

Elizabeth Armstrong Born about 1803/04 at Wallbottle Quarries, Parish of Newburn, Northumberland, she married Thomas Scott 24th February, 1822 at St. John's Church, Newcastle. They had: William born 1823 at Newbottle, Northumberland; Mark born 1825 at Wallbottle Quarries, Northumberland; Thomas born 1827 at Wallbottle Quaries; Elizabeth born 1829 at Wallbottle Quaries; Mary born 1832 at Wallbottle; John William born 1836 at New Thornley Co. Durham; Ann born 1838 at Thornley, Co. Durham; Jane born 1841 at Coxhoe Hill, Co. Durham; John born 1843 at Coxhoe Hill; and Jane born 1845 at Quarrington Hill, Co. Durham. Elizabeth was probably the daughter of William Armstrong (Labourer) and his wife Isabella Rennison - both from Lincolnshire.
